Tavolo

Furniture Design

2025

I designed this desk as a way to question what our role as designers might be if we prioritized accessibility and reproducibility.

The desk is constructed entirely from 1×5 planks of wood, pushing for a constraint-based approach to form and structure. Rather than concealing the process, the construction is deliberately legible, allowing the logic of the object to be read through its assembly.

While the form was carefully thought out, the execution intentionally remains rough. Elements such as the green mill stamp on the end grain and the visible drill holes are left exposed to acknowledge the material’s origin and the act and importance of making something with your own hands.

Lampada

Furniture Design

2025

During the course of this project, I was getting familiar with the works of Enzo Mari, specifically his autoprogettazione series, and decided to create something within that ethos.

After soaking in all that information, I began sketching a lamp that would be accessible in terms of its materials and its assembly, aiming to make it approachable for everyone to build.

Sedia

Furniture Design

2025

Building this was a full-circle moment coming out of making Tavolo and Lampada, which both pay homage to the great Enzo Mari.

This was the chair that sparked my interest in the designer, and it only felt right to reproduce it. These three projects taught me a lot about structural integrity and using only what’s necessary.

Le 6AM Club

Merchandising

2024

The 6AM Club is an inclusive running community bringing together enthusiasts from across Quebec, and more recently even in Europe.

The client requested a simple design using only typography.  They provided the text, which inspired the retro color scheme, mimicking a sunrise gradient with blue and yellow tones.
